How to Download Your Video on an iPhone (Google Chrome)
Yes - it's 100% possible to download your video on mobile (it's easy, fun and quick!)
In fact, we’re one of the only platforms that gives you three different ways to download, so you’re never stuck, no matter your device:
- Direct Download to your phone
- Save to Dropbox.
- Send to Email (an industry-first - more on that below)
If you're using Google Chrome on iPhone, here's exactly how to access your video and use it on social media like Instagram, Facebook or any other platform.
Option #1 - Direct Download to Your Phone
Step 1: Tap the Download Button
Once your video is ready, tap the Download button.
Tap DOWNLOAD as shown below.
Chrome will begin downloading the file.
Step 2: Tap "Open in..."
Once the download completes, Chrome will show an Open in… prompt.
Step 3: Choose “Open in Downloads”
To store the video on your phone:

- Or, scroll down and tap “Save to Files" (to choose a custom folder).
Step 4: Move the Video to Camera Roll
To use the video in Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp, it needs to be in your Camera Roll (Photos app).
After you tap "Open in downloads" (previous step), it'll open the video file in the downloads folder as shown below.
You need to tap and hold the file (otherwise known as a "long-press"):
The long-press action will bring up the menu as shown below:
Tap Share, then Save Video
The video will now appear in your Photos app. 🎉
Step 5: Post to Social Media
Now that the video is in your Camera Roll:
- Open Instagram, Facebook, or any other app
- Create a post or story
- Select the video from your Photos
You're ready to post. ✅

- Save to Dropbox - Directly from the download screen
We know downloading on mobile can sometimes be frustrating - that’s why we offer multiple fallback methods other platforms simply don’t.

We also offer the option of emailing your video to yourself as an attachment!
Once you receive the email, it's very easy to save it to your camera roll.
Gmail Users:
Open the email, and scroll down to view the attachment at the bottom. Tap the attachment.
The video preview will open, with a download icon at the top as shown below. Tap the download icon.
Gmail might ask for permissions to be able to save the video to your camera roll, you need to tap "Allow". That's it! Your video will now be in your camera roll.
Apple Mail Users:
Open the email, and scroll down to view the attachment at the bottom. Tap & hold the attachment.
This will open a preview, along with a menu as shown below. Tap "Save Video".
That's it! Your video will now be in your camera roll.
Option #3 - Save to Dropbox
Using our Dropbox integration, you can save your video file directly to your Dropbox storage so you can access it anywhere, anytime.
In order to use the below feature, you must have the Dropbox app installed on your phone.
Still Not Working?
If you've tried downloading, Dropbox, and email but still can't access your file, we recommend logging in on a computer to download.
