Creating a Tweet to Video
If you want to view some examples of Tweet Videos before getting started, you can click here.
To get started, click the Create New Video button in the top right of your account.
Click inside the Tweet to Video box to select it, and click on the Next button.
Select whether you'd like to create a Square Video (1080px x 1080px) or a Vertical Video (1080px x 1350px).
Click Next and you'll be taken to our video template editor.
Here, you can edit your template by either:
- Clicking anything inside the template in the middle of the page and begin typing.
- Or, you can use the template toolbar on the right side of the page.
Profile Picture
Click the existing profile picture to replace it with your own.
Profile Name & @username
Click inside the existing username text inside the tweet template and delete the default username. You can now replace it with any username you'd like to be displayed.
The same applies for both the profile name, and the @username.
Tweet Text
Simply click inside the existing tweet text and delete it.
You can now begin typing your own tweet!
You have complete freedom to include any marketing message here. Have a coupon deal running? A new product launching? A new store opening? A new item on your menu? Let your audience know about it here.
Social Proof
Click inside the existing Like count below the tweet, delete the default number, and type the number of likes for your tweet.
Date & Time
Click the date and/or time you'd like to edit, and replace it with any value.
Verified Badge
In the template toolbar you'll notice a Verified Badge icon as shown below. Click this to show/hide the verified badge in your video.
Typing Speed
You also have the option to customize the typing speed of your simulated tweet!
Add Media
You can optionally add media (an image or video) to your video tweet.
Simply click the Add Media icon in the right template toolbar and a pop-up will appear.
You can upload your own image, or you can click the Search tab inside the pop-up and search for an image by keyword to use inside your video tweet.
Once you've selected or uploaded an image, our image crop step will appear.
Here you'll be asked to crop your image to fit within the tweet.
When you're happy with how your image looks, click the Done button and it'll be inserted into your video template.
If you are creating a Square Video, your tweet text will be limited to 3 lines with media. If you're creating a Vertical Video, you'll have 7 lines for your tweet text with media.
If you're ready to render your video, click the Next button below the editor.
Click the Start Rendering button.
Your video will begin rendering. Depending on your Tweet to Video template edits and our current rendering queue this could take a few minutes.
Feel free to create a different video in the meantime while you wait, your video's rendering progress will be available on your dashboard (click "Videos" in the top menu to go to the dashboard).
When your video has finished rendering, you'll be shown an option to download your video file. Click Download.
Now you can upload your video file to Instagram or Facebook, or any other platform such as:
- Your website
- eCommerce store
- YouTube/Vimeo/Wistia
- Attach it to an email
- Send it inside a Facebook Messenger message
- and more.
